Branched from the Mighty Krishna
She flowed in to the city of nizams
rushing through the authentic walled banks
she let the city flourish
remembered in history are her angry moments
the times she broke her borders
but Mostly calm and quiet,
she mused her serpentine way
She, the Mother of the twins.
her sons standing on both sides
basking in the historic glory
Hyderabad, the elder and Secundrabad the younger one
But, with the timeless time
her sons turned careless
blinded in the new found fame
the mother is forgotten
Her glorious past, Lost
in the sediments of time
like a stinky stream of dirt
she crawls her way to extinction

Lady Earth - In Her Quiet Hours
you have stripped me off
my green clothes
But I thought you
needed them for shelter
My blood is being contaminated
by your wastes
But I let it go
and try to purify my self
Every inch of my body
is being bruised
But still, silent I am
and let you prosper
I am being weakened day by day
My fluids being sucked
till the last drop
But I never complain
You almost choked my breath
with all your racings against time
and my coughs in silence
are always unheard
My breasts are bleeding now
with your mighty blows
But I control the pain
for I want you to live
But in my thoughtful hours
I am forced to re-think...
I feel like a bride
being Raped repeatedly.

The Canvas Sky
The Blue Canvas
Stretched to infinity
the brushes of time and
the pallet of eternity
A vibrant ball of fire, chasing
A chilly white balloon.
A dark blanket with holes
pulled over by a loon
Visuals of the war
the knights riding on the raging chariots
followed by the rushing army
the flashing swords, and the determined patriots
Reflection of the disturbed Heavenly ocean
and still art of a resting potter's wheel
at times, A giant sleeping on the soft cotton bed
and a hiding robber, about to steal
from Images of the cosmos
to portraits crude and raw
sometimes just an empty void
in deep thoughts of What to Draw
the canvas sky...
