The Ant's Way

It embarked on a journey
From nothingness
Towards a goal unknown

Followed by an array
Of countless
Members, as identical as a clone

Rushing like a stream, at times
Unto the endless,
At times waltzing to the time’s soothing tone

Cris-cross ways
Distance measureless
Over the bounds the time had known

Barriers it overcame
With heart, fearless
With each win, courage had grown

As if it was held by a hand
Supreme and formless
Stranger, Yet, Known

Devotion so pure
Belief, deathless
With earnest efforts of its own

It just walked
Committed and worriless
On the sunlit path “HE” had shown
